Driver uninjured after South Hill crash that knocked down utility pole
A man fell asleep while driving, struck a utility pole, flipped his car, had the pole fall on his car but suffered no injuries Saturday afternoon, according to Spokane Police Officer Arthur Paine.
The South Hill accident occurred just after 3 p.m., when the man was driving northbound on Rockwood Boulevard. The one-vehicle crash occurred near the intersection of Rockwood and Highland boulevards, Paine said.
