Gonzaga’s Josh Perkins and Corey Kispert selected WCC All-Academic

Gonzaga’s Josh Perkins and Corey Kispert were named to the West Coast Conference All-Academic Team, announced Wednesday.

GU senior forward Jeremy Jones was honorable mention.

Perkins, a senior point guard, was honored for the third straight season. He has a 3.26 cumulative grade-point average. He is working on his master’s in organizational leadership after earning his undergraduate degree in sport management.

Kispert, a sophomore forward, carries a 3.44 GPA. He’s an undeclared business major.

Jones completed his undergraduate degree in business administration and is working on an MBA.

The team includes BYU’s TJ Haws and Luke Worthington; Loyola Marymount’s Erik Johansson; San Francisco’s Matt McCarthy, Charles Minlend, Jordan Ratinho and Nate Renfro; and Jordan Hunter of Saint Mary’s.
