Post Falls woman dies in Saturday evening crash near Seltice Way and I-90

A Post Falls woman died Saturday evening after failing to stop at a stop sign on an off-ramp to Seltice Way, according to Idaho State Police.

Lucy Abdelrahman, 82, was driving a Subaru Forester going west on the I-90 off-ramp toward Seltice Way. After failing to stop at the stop sign, her vehicle was hit head on by an oncoming vehicle, according to a news release from ISP.

Abdelrahman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Kevin Gonzales, 48, was the driver of the other car. Gonzales and his passenger, Ursula Gonzales, 45, were transported to Kootenai Health with non-life-threatening injuries.

All individuals involved were wearing seat belts. The crash is still under investigation.
