Three men were arrested in Lewiston on suspicion of using fake lottery tickets to win more than $800 from Idaho businesses.

Spokane residents Lucas S. Chane and John W. Day, along with Rodney K. Olson of Post Falls were jailed after police heard reports of a group of men cashing in counterfeit tickets at two local businesses.

After an employee at one of the businesses described the vehicle the men were driving, police found 40 tickets, drug paraphenilia as well as the printer and paper used to make them, according to a press release from Lewiston police.

All three men face felony possession of counterfeit or altered state lottery tickets. The Idaho State Lottery Commission is also assisting with the investigation and the men may face additional charges.
