Prep boys soccer: Ferris advances to 4A district title game with win over Gonzaga Prep

Ferris 4, Gonzaga Prep 0: Soloman Katumbi and Caden Martin scored two goals apiece and the fourth-seeded Saxons (15-2-0) beat the visiting eighth-seeded Bullpups (10-8-0) in a District 8 4A semifinal on Saturday.

Jadon Bowton made five saves for the shutout.

Ferris advances to play Pasco in the championship game on May 11. G-Prep faces a loser-out against Richland on Tuesday.

Pasco 2, Central Valley 0: Omar Penaloza scored in the 27th minute and the third-seeded Bulldogs (13-3-0) beat the second-seeded Bears (10-3-0) in a District 8 4A semifinal at Gonzaga Prep.

CV faces top-seeded Chiawana in a loser-out on May 7.

Richland 2, Lewis and Clark 0: Alan Scott scored two goals and the seventh-seeded Bombers (9-6-0) eliminated the sixth-seeded Tigers (8-7-2) at Albi Stadium in a District 8 4A loser-out.

Kamiakin 1, North Central 0: Caden Egli scored in the 71st minute and the Braves (10-4-0) beat the Indians (5-11-0) in a District 8 3A semifinal. NC hosts Mt. Spokane in a loser-out on Tuesday.

Clarkston 2, Pullman 0: The Bantams eliminated the Greyhounds in the District 7 2A semifinal and will face top-seeded Cheney in the title game at Roos Field on Tuesday.
