For one night only, characters from “Mystery Science Theater 3000,” including Joel Robinson (played by series creator Joel Hodgson) and robots Tom Servo, Crow and Gypsy, will step out of the screen and onto the First Interstate Center for the Arts stage.

The “Mystery Science Theater 3000’ Live: The Great Cheesy Movie Circus” tour comes to Spokane on Jan. 16. As the title suggests, Hodgson and the robots will take audiences on a tour through some of the cheesiest films ever made.

A variety of VIP packages are on sale now for season subscribers through www.wcebroadway.com, and single tickets will be available to the general public in mid-August.

“Mystery Science Theater 3000” was created in 1988 and ran through 1999. It was revived in 2017 and currently airs on Netflix.
