Prep football: Tri-Cities Prep beats Rogers 20-10

Dante Maiuri completed 38 of 58 passes for 441 yards and two touchdowns, and the Class 2B Tri-Cities Prep (5-0) defeated host Rogers 20-10 in a nonleague game at Albi Stadium.

Rogers (1-4) pulled within 13-10 when quarterback Casey Jeske connected with Jesse Atwood on a 21-yard touchdown pass midway through the second quarter, but the Pirates went scoreless in the second half.

Jeske completed 11 of 21 passes for 172 yards and was intercepted twice.

Also for Rogers, Daryus Colbert caught six passes for 115 yards, and Isaac Sweeney booted a 34-yard field goal for a 3-0 lead with 5 1/2 minutes left in the opening quarter.
