Cosmic Cowboy Grill reopens in River Park Square

Cosmic Cowboy Grill reopened in River Park Square Thursday for takeout, curbside and delivery service.

Cosmic Cowboy Grill received funding from the federal Paycheck Protection Program, which allows the restaurant to rehire 30 employees for its Spokane and Coeur d’Alene locations.

The Spokane location closed in mid-March and while Cosmic Cowboy Grill in Coeur d’Alene remained open, it furloughed several employees amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Cosmic Cowboy, which serves healthy, farm-to-table dishes, celebrated a grand opening February for its downtown Spokane restaurant at 808 W. Main Ave.

River Park Square is owned by affiliates of the Cowles Co., owner of Cowles Publishing Co., the publisher of The Spokesman-Review.
