Feature creature: Shelter volunteers say Hazel is ‘best dog, ever’

Hazel is a beautiful gal who is looking forward to many great adventures with her new family, the Spokane County Regional Animal Protection Service said in a news release. She loves long walks. She likes cuddling, and she appears to be house-broken. She is a trick master. She likes to go for rides in the car. Volunteers who took her for an outing said she is the “best dog, ever.”

Refer to the pet’s ID number when contacting SCRAPS Spokane County Regional Animal Protection Service with questions about one of the adoptable pets. If you are interested in this dog or any animal there, call (509) 477-2532 or visit the shelter at 6815 E. Trent Ave. in Spokane Valley. Dog adoptions cost $120 and include spay or neuter, the first set of vaccinations (including rabies) health check, microchip and first year’s license.
