One driver hurt, another arrested in hit-and-run crash on SR 291 near Tum Tum

Washington State Patrol troopers partially blocked State Route 291 southwest of Tum Tum on Thursday afternoon to investigate a two-car hit-and-run crash that resulted in serious injuries to one driver.

The crash in Stevens County was reported at about 2:45 p.m., and the suspect driver was later arrested near Lakeside Middle School in Suncrest, according to WSP.

The other driver was transported to the hospital, according to WSP.
