Verdis in Coeur d’Alene has promoted Stephanie Blalack from senior land use planner to planning manager. She will continue to oversee local land use planning projects, but now be involved with the engineering, surveying and landscape architecture for those projects. Prior to joining the firm in 2008, Blalack worked in Kootenai County’s Community Development Department.

Aviation

Spokane International Airport has promoted Jeff Roberts from airport duty manager to assistant maintenance manager and David Swanson from an operations specialist to airport duty manager. Roberts previously worked for United Airlines. Swanson previously worked at Empire Airlines, Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport and Glacier Park International Airport.

Manufacturing

Accra-Fab in Liberty Lake has hired Mark Norton as senior manager of business development. He has 40 years of experience in business and product development in aerospace, medical and advance manufacturing. Norton previously worked for Bayer, Boeing, ITW and Johnson & Johnson. He serves as a chairman of the Inland Northwest Aerospace Consortium.

Honors
