No stake in unemployment

I find it interesting that those at the top and their supporting experts, both state and federal, who set the guidelines and make the rules as to what we can do and when we can do it, moving through the phases of recovery from the virus, are fully employed with no chance that their compensation will be at risk no matter what they decide.

I wonder if the view of the world and life as we are now living it would be different if their businesses were closed and/or they were unemployed.
