Adams County teen missing for two years found in Mexico

An Adams County teenager who had been missing for two years was found near Mexico City last week.

FBI Seattle recovered the missing Adams County girl after a tip alerted agents that the girl was in rural Mexico.

The girl arrived in Spokane late Tuesday night and was reunited with her family, according to the FBI.

“Too many times we see situations like these end in tragedy or with no answers. Happily in this case, we were able to bring her home, thanks to the quick actions of our agents and our partners at the Othello Police Department and the Mexican Federal Police,” said FBI Seattle Special Agent, Raymond Duda.

The girl went missing in June 2018 when she was 14-years-old. She had not been seen since disappearing from Othello two years ago but it was suspected for some time that she was in Mexico.
