Only a few tickets are left for preferred seating at the Kathy Mattea concert July 21 at 7 p.m. at the Silver Mountain Amphitheatre in Kellogg. Preferred seating tickets are $27.50; plenty of $22.50 general admission tickets remain.

Seattle grunge pioneer Tad plays Outback Jack’s on June 6. General admission tickets are $8.

In all the announcements of the pops lineup at the Festival at Sandpoint, the chamber/new works music series may have been overshadowed. The chamber concerts will be Aug. 2 and 16 at Schweitzer Mountain Resort, Aug. 9 at The Met in Spokane and Aug. 18 at Swan’s Landing in Sandpoint.

The jazz concerts will be Aug. 7 at Schweitzer Mountain Resort, Aug. 14 at The Met and Aug. 19 at Swan’s Landing.

Tickets for the concerts at The Met will be $16; tickets for all other chamber and jazz concerts will vary in price and will be available only at the door.
