Dish Up The Divine

To dine is human, but to eat dessert is divine - particularly one of Ann Marie Benedict’s desserts.

Under the name Divine Elegance, the Valley, Wash., woman produces such out-of-this-world treats as a Kahlua Truffle cake and Cappuccino Delight and Hazelnut Truffle brownies (pictured here), along with an array of other brownies, cheesecakes, mousse and truffle cakes.

One bite, and you’ll think you’ve died and gone to heaven.

Price: Cakes, $2.50-$3/slice; brownies, $2/each; small cakes, $21-25.

Available: Harry O’s Fresh Market, Patsy Clark’s Mansion (on the upcoming fall menu) or by calling (509) 937-2150 (gift wrapping available).
