A Hot-Spud Sundae

You’re one of those people who loves potatoes so much, you’d even eat them for dessert?

Well, now you can - sort of.

C.I. Shenanigan’s restaurant in Spokane offers an after-dinner treat called an Idaho Baked Potato that’s actually made with Oreo cookie ice cream, dusted with cocoa powder to suggest a skin. Then it’s topped with whipped (as opposed to sour) cream, garnished with almonds instead of chives and served on a bed of hot fudge sauce.

Say, could I get some fries with that?

Price: $3.99.

Available: C.I. Shenanigan’s, 332 N. Spokane Falls Court (455-6690). , DataTimes ILLUSTRATION: Color Photo
