John Alfred and Doris Mae Martenson, Hayden, Idaho, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at The Rivers Edge in Post Falls.

Hosts for the event were their children and spouses: Larry and Evie Sheldon, Aurora, Colo.; Jerry Martenson, Lynnwood, Wash.; Arlin and Judi Migliazzo, and Bob and Carol Stipek, all of Spokane; Mark and Connie Decker, Arizona; John and Luann Foley, Pasadena, Calif.; and Doug and Patty Martenson, Rathdrum, Idaho.

The Martensons were married Oct. 3, 1946, in Sidney, Mont. They have 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
