Roy Rogers And His Band At Fort Spokane Brewery

Stunning slide guitarist and bluesmeister Roy Rogers is back in town.

And you’ll find him and his band, the Delta Rhythm Kings, at the Fort Spokane Brewery tonight.

This San Francisco-based musician is a mainstay of the West Coast blues community and a Spokane favorite. He has twice been nominated for a Grammy and has worked with the likes of Bonnie Raitt, Keith Richards, Los Lobos, Van Morrison and Carlos Santana.

Bonnie Raitt in Guitar World magazine described Rogers as “‘one of the most authentic interpreters of modern blues. He’s a real master.”

But Rogers (named after the TV cowboy) also has gained a prestigious reputation as a producer. He produced the four most recent albums by John Lee Hooker - all of which were nominated for Grammys.

Sammy Eubanks opens the show at 9 p.m. Tickets are $15, $14 for Spokane Blues Society members, available only at the Fort Spokane Brewery.
