Hints From Heloise

King Features Syndicate

Dear Heloise: My husband has an efficient way to butter corn on the cob. It is a method that has been in his family for a long time.

He first butters a slice of bread, and then he wraps it around the corn on the cob, rolling the corn until it is fully buttered.

This method saves a napkin, keeps his fingers clean and gives him buttered bread to eat with his meal. - Starla Griffin, Huntington Beach, Calif.

Dear Heloise: About frozen potato chips: We think they are great and a nice thing to always have on hand, as they stay fresh for so long. Take only as many as you need at a time. - Fred Millett
