Teino and Shirley Piukkula, Spokane, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with dinner at 6 p.m. Saturday at Cavanaugh’s Inn at the Park.

Hosts for the event will be their children and spouses: Sharon and Ellis Nunn, Jackson Hole, Wyo.; Gregory Piukkula, Veradale; George and Denise Piukkula, Colbert; Susan and Eric Longden, Carlsbad, Calif.; and Sandy Lukenbill, Gerard Piukkula, and Sheryl Branham, all of Spokane.

The Piukkulas were married May 31, 1947, in Aberdeen, Wash. They have seven grandchildren.
