Bad Man Bobby Brown Can’t Do Time In Houston
Bobby Brown was crying. So was his wife, songstress Whitney Houston.
And no one was even paying them to do it.
The occasion was Brown’s sentencing on Thursday for drunk driving. Brown faces five days in jail and forced drug and alcohol treatment after being found guilty of crashing his black Porsche in the Florida town of Hollywood, located just south of Fort Lauderdale.
The accident occurred in 1996, but the case had been delayed - for one reason because police waited more than four months to charge the 30-year-old Brown. The singer, who broke four ribs and a foot in the crash, had more than a 0.2 blood-alcohol level at the time.
Brown is free on $15,000 bond pending appeal of the verdict.

Someone heard her say that Moore can’t act
Bruce Willis and Demi Moore want $300,000 from a former employee who, they allege, violated the terms of a contract by blabbing about the stars’ private life, slandering them and using their credit cards for her personal expenses. The suit against Kim Tannahill was filed Wednesday in Hailey, Idaho, where Willis and Moore own a house.

This just in: Bob Guccione Jr. has offered Monica Lewninsky $2 million to do an exclusive interview - plus pose for some “modest, semi-nude” photos. In 1992, Penthouse ran photos of Gennifer Flowers wearing a see-through wrap, and in 1996 Paula Jones appeared partially nude.
Hmmmm, ‘Baywatch’ or Sinbad: It’s a tough choice
After doing that Dorito Puffs-catching ad during the Super Bowl, Ali Landry, 24, seeks more up-scale work. “I know one direction would be toward something like ‘Baywatch,”’ the Miss USA 1995 said. “But that’s not really me. I’d really like to focus on something with a little more substance.” First up: co-hosting “Vibe” for a week with Sinbad.
