Adolescent Support Group – For children having trouble understanding and coping with chronic illness in a family. This group meets from 5:30-7 p.m. at Holy Family Hospital on Mondays. The cost is free. Call 533-5470 for information.

Adult Adoptee Group – For adult adoptees to examine how having two families of origin affects adult life and relationships, exploration of search and reunion; facilitated by the Children’s Home Society. Call 747-4174.

ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) Group – facilitated by Audrey Burr, A.C.S.W. meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month, 3 p.m. 140 S. Arthur, fifth floor conference room. Call 533-5470.

Alzheimer’s Support Group – Contact the Inland Northwest Alzheimer’s Association at 483-8456 for locations and times in Spokane, Grant and Whitman counties.

Alzheimer’s Support Group, South Hill – The Waterford on the South Hill hosts meetings the third Wednesday, 1-2:30 p.m. Call Kelle Madden at 536-2929.

Alzheimer’s Support Group – Meets the third Monday of every month from 1:30-3 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 318 S. Cedar St. For information call 747-1085.

Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders Caregiver Support Group – meets the fist Monday of every month from 7-8:30 p.m. at the North Spokane Library, 44 E. Hawthorne Road. Contact Lisa Markham at 484-2345.
