‘The Work and the Glory’

Based on the first volume of Gerald N. Lund’s best-selling novel, “The Work and the Glory” tells the story of the beginnings of the Mormon Church. It revolves around a family of farmers that comes apart when one of its hired workers, a guy named Joseph Smith, begins making grand claims about angelic visitations. The movie opens today for an exclusive run at the Spokane Valley Cinemas.
