Spokane Civic Theatre’s production of “Les Misérables” starts tonight and runs through Oct. 20. We asked readers what other productions of the play they’d seen and how they were. Here’s what they said:

Reagan K. Havey

U-Drama (University High School Theatre Dept.) It was phenomenal!!!

Ann Schluting

Hey! I was just going to say that! The kids were fantastic. A few definitely have a promising future in the theater.

Traci Mack

I hope to someday. I’ve only seen movie versions.

Jean Evans

Saw it when the Broadway touring company brought it to Spokane a number of years ago and it was wonderful. Definitely a 5 box of tissues show.

Janice Medlock

Right here in Spokane - it was AWESOME!

Michele Gulliford

CDA summer Theater… It was great!

Lindsey Myron

London, New York and a touring production in San Diego. I was obsessed when I was a kid and knew all the songs before seeing it that first time in London. I was 10 and passionately sang along until my cousin reminded me that the rest of the audience would probably prefer to hear the actors.

James Snook

Saw it in Seattle and here in Spokane. Nothing short of AWESOME!!!

@daniel winlander

Clearly the North Central High School production in 2004. No contest.
