Clinkerdagger’s chef to teach class

Veteran Clinkerdagger’s chef Mark Steinmetz will teach home cooks how to make Beef Short Ribs with Sesame-Balsamic Green Beans and Key Lime Pie on Sunday afternoon.

Steinmetz will emphasize how to keep the meat moist and create a sauce from the braising juices. The sides and dessert round the rest of this summer meal.

The class takes place at 2 p.m. at Kitchen Engine, 621 W. Mallon Ave, Suite 416. There’s room for 16 participants in the presentation-style class, which is expected to run an hour to an hour and a half.

The class costs $39.
