Plenty of fireworks to be found on the tube

Don’t miss

Fourth of July celebrations: Here’s our big bang theory: Nothing beats watching fireworks live and in person. But if you happen to be welded to the couch this year, television has plenty of “oohs” and “ahs” to offer. The special programming includes the “Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular” (8 p.m. Saturday, NBC) from Manhattan. Hosted by Willie Geist and Tamron Hall, it offers performances by Dierks Bentley, Kelly Clarkson, Brad Paisley, Flo Rida and Meghan Trainor. And then there’s “A Capitol Fourth” (8 p.m. Saturday, PBS). It’s an all-star musical extravaganza from the West Lawn of the Capitol. The talent lineup includes Barry Manilow, Alabama, Nicole Scherzinger, Hunter Hayes, Meghan Linsey, KC and the Sunshine Band.
