Owen Peterson may have just learned to walk, but that hasn’t stopped the three year old from reeling in a massive rainbow trout. In fact, as of Tuesday Peterson had caught the largest fish in the annual Lake Pend Oreille Idaho club derby.

Peterson caught a 15.06 pound, 31 inch rainbow trout.

And although he was overtaken by Dan Harder’s 18.54 pound 34 inch rainbow later in the week, Peterson had the second largest rainbow as of Friday.

The derby will end Sunday.
