Pullman chocolatier wins awards

Dancing Chocolate won two bronze awards from TasteTV and the International Chocolate Salon at the fifth annual Chocolate Truffle Artistry Awards in San Francisco.

The Pullman chocolatier also received a three-star rating at the event, which took place earlier this month.

Judging was based on the combined total of votes each entrant receives from the judging panel. Judges came from national and regional magazines, newspapers and blogs. They also included chefs and food experts.

Truffles could be handmade or molded, enrobed or dusted.

Dancing Chocolate’s Champagne Spuffles Truffle won bronze in both the “Most Unique” and “Best Overall Truffle Artistry.”

The truffle is made with artisanal chocolate that’s ethically sourced from Ecuador and sprinkled with edible gold stars. Its presentation also sets it apart: it’s made and sold on a keepsake spoon.

Dancing Chocolate launched in 2016.

Its full line of Spuffles Truffles is available online, along with its signature Dancing Chocolate, at www.dancingchocolate.com.
