Nordic association will prepare trails Saturday

With winter just around the corner, the Spokane Nordic Ski Association has started trail preparation on Mount Spokane.

The association is asking for volunteers Saturday to help prepare the trail system for the winter.

Volunteers are asked to meet at the Selkirk Lodge at 9 a.m. Work will go until 3 p.m. Bring a lunch and plenty of water, and dress for unpredictable fall weather.
