Crunching the numbers in the superintendent’s race…

Democratic candidate for state schools superintendent Jana Jones carried nine counties on election night, reports Idaho Education News reporter Kevin Richert reports: Ada, Bannock, Blaine, Latah, Teton, Bonneville, Nez Perce, Power and Shoshone.  Republican candidate Sherri Ybarra carried the other 35, in her narrow win. He also notes that more than 11,000 voters who cast ballots in the governor’s race didn’t vote for either candidate in the superintendent’s race.
