House, Senate memorialize former members who’ve died in the past year

Today is the day that both the Idaho House and Senate memorialize past members who have died in the past year. In the Senate, former Sens. Ed Osborne, John V. Evans, Ralph “Moon” Wheeler and Mel Richardson are being eulogized; in the House, those being memorialized include Osborne, Richardson and Wheeler, who served in both chambers, and the late Reps. Steve Antone, Samuel Eismann, Millie Flandro, Frank Hirschi, June Judd, Maynard Miller, Doyle Miner, and Herm Steger. Both ceremonies, which are annual events, also include music and other remembrances.
