Restructuring continues at state Department of Education

The restructuring at Superintendent Sherri Ybarra’s State Department of Education continued this week with the termination of school improvement and support director Greg Alexander, Idaho Education News reports; Alexander had been with the department since January of 2012, and was hired under previous schools chief Tom Luna. Ybarra’s office told EdNews that Alexander won’t be replaced as his department is merged into the federal programs office; it was the latest of several personnel moves at the department.
