To the extreme

Sunday’s story on “Extreme Makeover’s” visit to Sandpoint was budgeted with a great big question mark throughout the week, and editors were glad to see it make its way into the paper. Television shows in production are difficult to get access to because, understandably, they don’t want to give away what happens (Jeopardy contestants, for instance, forfeit their winnings if they reveal the outcome of a show). There are more angles we might take a look at, include any accomodations made in the permitting and inspection process, and how the lucky homeowners will manage the taxes and upkeep on their new digs (we’re told the show covers a significant portion of this).
