As a follow up to last year’s “Planet in Peril,” an investigative report on global environmental issues, you should get ready for more action because on December 11th, at 9pm EST, “Planet in Peril: Battle Lines” will premiere on CNN with the subtlety of a Jerry Bruckheimer production. Cheap jokes aside, we’re not trying to undermine the seriousness of the topics covered---which include finding a connection between fights over oil and disease---it’s just that the below clip of reporters injecting themselves into action situations occasionally undermines their good intentions for HDTV.
