JBelle: How Can We Not Forgive Others?

JBelle: The treachery, betrayal and violence are what it's all about for me. This man, The Jesus, died under brutal and heinous circumstances for a gentle and loving soul such as Himself. Because it's painful, I think we separate ourselves from his suffering and martyrdom. But it's super important because if he could forgive those people for what they did to him, how can we can NOT forgive anybody else for what they do to us? And all the more powerful is that he knew exactly what was going to happen to him and willingly walked to His Glory in fulfillment of the Scriptures. The film was incredibly beautiful and well done.

Question: In the Lord's Prayer, many of us say by rote: "Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us." Which is easier said than done. However, I've found it's therapeutic to forgive someone  who has hurt you because carrying around hate takes a major toll. Are you good at forgiving others?
