Monty Pearce, R-New Plymouth, during the education "reform" debate this morning that "They have gone through literal hell to get to this point." One Twitter buddy observes: "I get a kick out of the use of 'literal' when they actually mean 'figurative.' They didn't literally go through hell. Figuratively."
