IPT: AG Wasden Sets Example
In today’s hyper-partisan, bitterly polarized political environment, the battle lines have been clearly drawn: you’re either an immoral, Constitution-hating, America-despising, God-loathing commie or a greedy, selfish,
homophobic racist waging a perennial War on Women.
Of course, there’s also a third category that’s even worse: a wishy-washy moderate with no principles or backbone.
Sigh. Is it any wonder so many people are turned off by politics? That’s why Idaho Attorney General Lawrence Wasden of Nampa is such a breath of fresh air. In an era where seemingly every elected official puts rigid, unbending ideology first, Wasden is a throwback to a bygone era in which adherence to the sworn duties of office trump political affiliation. Wasden is a Republican in good standing. But his lack of fear at telling fellow party members they’re wrong in the eyes of the law when they are has earned him an ample supply of complaints from more than a few disgruntled fellow GOPers/

DFO: I approve of this message. Lawrence Wasden is the best elected official at the state level, with Secretary of State Ben Ysursa a close second.
Question: Who do you consider to be the best elected official at the state level?
