Kim Knerl: Compared to some places I’ve left, Coeur d’Alene still retains some of the “Leave It To Beaver” qualities, and I mean that in a positive way. I like that sort of life and not so long ago it was strong here. No doubt there is a beautiful lake that will attract many, but as long as you can hold on to a small town atmosphere, many will look out for the community.
