Festner Files For Kennedy Seat

Jared Festner, of 935 Front Ave., has filed his candidacy papers to run for the Coeur d’Alene City Council seat now held by Councilman Mike Kennedy, who isn’t seeking re-election. Festner joins Amy Evans, 717 B St., as a candidate for the seat. Eight people signed Festner’s candidacy petition: Sarah & Travis Knoblich, Jeff Alicea, Kyle & Emily Neufeld, Carolyn Meyer, Amanda Tonasket and Amanda Festner. Ten people signed Evans petition: Chris Meyer, Sandi Bloem, Jeff Crowe, Kris & Kai Sharbono, Roger Snyder, Joe Morris, Cynthia & Tom Taggart, and Doug Evans.
