Dad Taught Candidate How To Hunt

On his Facebook wall, Coeur d’Alene mayoral candidate Steve Widmyer posts: “One of the best memories is hunting (with) my dad. It wasn’t about the deer. It was about spending time with my dad outdoors. This photo was taken in 1971 here in CdA. We went up into the hills that day near here. We hiked the mountains and eventually had a Snickers bar. The season is beginning again. Best of luck to those who are about to set out this season. The memories you create can last a lifetime. ”
