Joker (RE: Huckleberries Primer): The blog has gone through many revolutions and evolutions over the years. Today, it's a local and state news aggregate site only. It's great for finding out what is going on in Kootenai County. Dave does an excellent job of compiling news stories from all over the place. The wild and crazy days of HBO are no more. The corner bar vibe is kaput. I miss that. It's the reason I don't comment much these days because it's no longer fun. Fun is out. The blog is where I can get information and insight to things -- that's it. Some of these changes are a result of Facebook and Twitter becoming the mediums for conservation, debate and discussion. Some of this is a result of the DFO not wanting to deal with flame wars and people dueling it out.
