Irgens To Recuse Herself From Votes
Mic Armon, of the Balance North Idaho board of directors, sent this statement to Huckleberries Online moments ago: “In our first quarter board meeting held today, the Balance North Idaho board of directors voted to have Eden Irgens recuse herself from voting in all election endorsements. The purpose of this is to eliminate the perception of a conflict of interest regarding her association with BNI due to her ownership position with Range NW, an organization that participates in campaign marketing activities for candidates.”
DFO: Mic told Huckleberries that Balance North Idaho will take part in North Idaho College trustee races and, maybe, judge elections — because they are nonpartisan — it won’t participate in partisan races involving the spring primary or fall general election.
