This quacker in the north nesting box of the Coeur d'Alene Resort Boardwalk hissed at walking partner Greg Lee and me, as we walked along the waterfront Wednesday. Greg braved the hissing to capture this photo. Last year, one of the quackers produced a nice nest of eggs for the delight of boardwalk walkers.
