Poop & Run

On his Facebook wall, Eric Barro posts:

"People who are irresponsible should not be allowed to have pets. Case in point is this old guy walking 2 dogs at McEuen Park in CdA. One of his dogs craps on the grass and of course he sees me and mouths out loud that he was gonna grab a bag to take care of his dog's crap. Surely if you've got dogs you'd already have bags with you in case they decide to do their business at any time. Yeah you guessed it he didn't even walk back to take care of that crap. Maybe he won't remember where his dog crapped and step on it on his way back home."

DFO: Mrs O & I take bags with us on walks to pick up after Huckleberry. However, Huckleberry occasionally will put us in a tight spot by experiencing two pooper moments during a walk. That happened to us on a walk around Tubbs Hill Saturday. AND, to our dismay, there weren't any doggy bags available in the tubes at the McEuen Dog Park. So I dug one out of the trash to take care of the second occurrence. Nothing ruins a day like stepping in dog crap when you're enjoying the scenery at one of our dog parks.
