Labrador praises Pence pick

Idaho Rep. Raúl Labrador posted this statement on Facebook over the weekend, reacting to Donald Trump’s decision to name Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, who also served in the U.S. House for more than a decade, as his vice presidential running mate:

"Mike Pence is a great choice for Vice President. I served with Mike in my first term and consider him a friend. I always admired his commitment to putting his family first while balancing the needs of his constituents. I think Idahoans should be excited that Donald Trump has chosen a vice presidential running mate who shares Idaho's conservative values of faith and family. Mike Pence is a reliable conservative and this is a solid step towards uniting the Republican Party."

Question: What impact will Donald Trump's VP pick of Indiana Gov. Mike Pence have on the GOP presidential ticket?
