ASA NWLMT Set for the Wenatchee 125

Marysville, WA (September 10, 2009): Once again the best in the Northwest have registered for the iRacing.com American Speed Association Northwest Late Model Tour’s next  stop at Wenatchee Valley’s Super Oval in East Wenatchee, Washington. This Saturday evening September 12 the Wenatchee 125 presented by Randy’s Towing is bringing to the area the very best in Super Late Model Stock Car racers.

The list runs the gambit from legends to those that are aspiring to get to that level. Garrett Evans (E. Wenatchee, WA) has obtained the legend moniker. Gary Lewis (Snohomish, WA) is the next in line to be included in that select circle. Locals Brent Harris (E. Wenatchee, WA) and Shane Mitchell (E, Wenatchee, WA) have earned a high status on the list of the best.

Two father -son duos are registered, Martin and Brad Stanwood (Portland, OR) along with Wes and Dan Rhodes (Yelm, WA). All are seasoned racers.

Kelly Mann (Monroe, WA), Jay Sauls (Puyallup, WA), Mark Sundberg (Seattle, WA), Josh Roberts (Ephrata, WA), Marty Wason (Chelan, WA), Ed Thomsen (Pasco, WA), Scott Walker (Prosser, WA), Shelby Thompson (Spokane, WA) and Jared Vorse (Olympia, WA) are in the veteran category.

In the rookie category are the best newcomers the series has seen in a long time. Joey Tanner (Portland, OR), Alan Cress (Albany, OR) and Amanda MacDonald (Ephrata, WA) are all in the point’s battle for the series top ten and also the Port City Racecars ‘Rookie Challenge’ award.

With just two races remaining in the 2009 season for the northwest’s only traveling super late model stock car series the Wenatchee 125 presented by Randy’s Towing has shaped up to be one of the best this season.
