I ran into Mark Mayers of One World Spokane Cafe at a function yesterday. We chatted for a bit, the cafe is going great and somehow that got me thinking of which businesses we are missing on South Perry Street. I stopped by the gas station the other day and was surprised to find pretty much a full-size grocery store inside (I usually just get gas and go) On my way home, I often stop at Hai's to pick up that one thing I don't want to drive another three miles to get at Safeway. There are still some empty store fronts on our little street - so tell me, what do you miss? What would you like to see in the old Altamont Pharmacy?
