This morning photographer Kathly Plonka stopped by an assembly at University High School held in honor of Josie Freier and McKenzie Mott, two students killed in a car accident over the weekend. This week the CV schools have been collecting toys for the Marine Corps Toys for Tots charity in their honor and it looks like students have collected a ton of them. If you'd like to donate, you can still bring new toys to any Spokane Valley Fire Department fire station.
