Eastern trails NAU 31-27 at halftime

Guard James Douglas scored 15 points to lead Northern Arizona to a 31-27 halftime lead in a Sky Conference basketball game at Eastern Washington Saturday night.

Eastern led 9-2 early on a trio of 3-points by guard Cliff Colimon, but the Eagles' shooting cooled.

Colimon led the Eagles with 13 points.

For the half, Eastern shot just 11-for-30 from the field (36.7 percent) while NAU was 12-for-21 (57.1 percent).
