FROM SEATTLE — Hard to believe this is the fifth game day of the season, but here we are. In a few hours, we’ll drive over to CenturyLink Field — hopefully avoiding traffic — and settle in to watch Washington State take on Oregon. For now, here are some links.

Arizona State (3-1, 1-0 Pac-12) at California (1-3, 0-1 Pac-12) — The Sun Devils’ history in Berkely isn’t so great . … This is a must-win game for Jeff Tedford and the Bears .

UCLA (3-1, 0-1 Pac-12) at Colorado (1-3, 1-0 Pac-12) — It won’t be easy for the Buffaloes’ defense. The Bruins hope their running game takes a step in the right direction .

Oregon State (2-0, 1-0 Pac-12) at Arizona (3-1, 0-1 Pac-12) — Does Arizona have problems or issues ? Or both? … It’s another tough test for the Beavers, who have passed two so far.

Also: Utah is regrouping during its bye week. … Washington’s defense looks brand new. … A USC cornerback is working his way back.
